What 𜸩 means

It occupies one cell of a 3×3 letter grid.

The HP 2640 family began in 1974. Its Large Character Set made oversized headlines; a 1979 manual says each letter uses nine pieces.

A 2021 Unicode proposal maps it to slot 10 in HP’s Large font ROM, a chip holding character shapes; Unicode included it as text in 2024. Cascadia Code added these pieces in 2024; fonts lacking this glyph may show a missing-character box.

Why does 𜸩 show as a box on some devices?

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
