alien monster step-2

Alien Monster Step-2

This is the second movement pose of an alien in Sharp's MZ-700 game character set. That home computer used ready-made glyphs to make screen pictures, so this one reads as a tiny retro-game creature.

What 𜱕 means

It is the second pose of a game alien. Sharp's MZ-700 home computer went on sale in 1982. Its built-in character chip held ready-made game art. In 1983, the British magazine Personal Computer World said Knights designed the expanded 512-character set and thanked Sharp staff. Unicode's 2021 proposal supplied names because old computer charts often lacked labels.
