Hi there! Sorry, but there's no way to do it with alt codes. I've researched on that before and.. No you can't input a star using alt codes. I assure you, that all alt codes are listed here: Alt Codes and there is no way to input other symbols not listed there, by using Alt codes.

Because not all of these symbols have Alt Codes for them, and because it's hard to type them with Unicode codes. And also, you need different codes for different operating systems, and stuff. And so, I don't think it would be quite useful, nor handy.
Bookmarking this page is whole lot easier than remembering all the codes.
